On a needle for injection syringes there is located a cap (36) which surrounds the needle and can be pushed, and in particular screwed, onto an attachment (32) on the syringe and serves to connect the needle (34) with the syringe. The cap comprises an actual cap portion (38) and an adjoining fixing portion (40) fastened on the needle. The fixing portion (40) is designed as an elongate sleeve and is made of an easily deformable material, so that a bent position can be imparted on the needle by bending the fixing portion. <IMAGE>
