Apparatus for localised rinsing of wounds or areas for treatment which are difficult to reach, more particularly in the mouth in dentistry, comprises a deformable container 8 holding a sterile rinsing fluid, and a fitment 1 fitted on the container and providing a deformable cannula 2, the cannula being caused to assume a suitable angular position for said local treatment by means of permanent deformation either before or after application on the container. The container is supplied in a sealed condition and the fitment is supplied in a sterile packing 6, 7, the respective seals being broken only immediately before use. The cannula can be bent to an appropriate angle for the part to be treated before removal of the sterile packing therefrom. The cannula may include a sharpened end to puncture the closed spout of the container, or the upper part of the container may be broken off and the cannula may be a push fit over the container opening. <IMAGE> |
