The oscillation and stopping operations of the oscillator 4 are controlled by a timing signal outputted every when the predetermined number of oscillation output is counted by the counter mounted in a control circuit 1 for controlling the operation of a printer and constant density recording is performed regardless of the change in temp. By this constitution, the oscillator can be oscillated only at a necessary time and the control operation of the control circuit can be made synchronous with the starting time of oscillation while a stand-by time in a control aspect is eliminated and the enhancement in the control efficiency and speed of the thermal had can be achieved. |
