PURPOSE:To increase rigidity as a whole and to improve an acoustic characteristic and the beauty of external appearance by abutting the tip of a longitudinal rib formed in a body with the body of a speaker cabinet on a baffle part made of material other than resin. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a speaker cabinet is formed in a body of thermoplastic resin, and a slanted part 1b that slants inward to the back of the cabinet is formed on the side of the body 1. An opening 1c is formed near the corner of the slanted part 1b, and a signal terminal plate 2 is fixed. A longitudinal rib 1d is formed in the longitudinal direction of the body 1 and the back of the baffle plate 3 abuts on the tip of the rib 1d through a sealing member 3b. The distance between two end faces of the rib 1d and the side of the body 1 opposite to it is made different, and a woofer 4 and a tweeter 5 are arranged on the baffle plate 3. Then, a grill board 7, net member 9 and a vibration proof plate 10 are attached. Thus, the strength as a whole is increased and an acoustic characteristic and the beauty as an interior is improved. |
