PURPOSE:To achieve a refrigerating system for refrigerator vehicle without requiring a compressor, auxiliary refrigerating engine and motor by employing the brake heat of an electromagnetic retarder, waste heat of engine cooling water and exhaust gas as the heat source of an absorptive refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:Upon turning on of a retarder switch 7 in the cabin, a core 20 and a tees 18 are attracted each other to apply braking force against a flywheel 3. While electromotive force is produced in a generating coil 8 and upon contact of common contact 9a with retarder circuit contact 9b, current will flow through a heat generating resistor 12 to produce heat which is used as the heat source of an absorptive refrigerator 11 to perform refrigeration under braking. During operation of engine 1, the cooling water is brought to high temperature in the engine then fed to a cooling water radiator 14 to heat said refrigerator 11 to perform refrigeration of car. During parking, the common contact 9a is exchanged the commercial source contact 9c to flow current through said resistor 12 thus to heat said refrigerator 11 and to perform refrigeration of vehicle. |
