CONSTITUTION:Crystals (deliquescent elements) 2, 2' of potassium bromide used for the base plate of a beam splitter 1 consisting of germanium are sealed in a protective box 3 and the deliquescence of the elements 2, 2' is prevented by a dehumidifying agent 9 attached to the body 3 while an apparatus is not used. The deliquescence of the elements 2, 2' is prevented in the stage of using the apparatus by operating first a heater 6, moving the box 3 to open the elements 2, 2' the heater 6 and a sensor A4 after the difference between the temps. detected by the sensors A4 and B5 is maintained near the set temp., and maintaining the set temp. difference by keeping the heater 6 operating thereafter too. |
