PURPOSE:To combine magnetic poles and a separator solidly into one body by a method wherein pieces which have cone parts at their ends are inserted into piercing holes of the separator and the ends of the pieces are pressed against the magnetic poles which hold the separator between them and a current is applied between the magnetic poles to weld the magnetic poles and the pieces together. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic poles 1a and 1b hold a separator 2 between them and a permanent magnet is set in a center cylindrical cavity so as to rotate freely. The separator 2 is formed by an aluminum diecasting method and piercing holes 23 are provided to two parallel sides 21, 22. Pieces 5 which have cone parts at their ends are inserted into the piercing holes 23. The diameter (d) of the piece 5 is equal to the width of the piercing hole 23 and the length (l) of its cylindrical part is approximately equal to the length of the piercing hole 23. The cone parts of the ends of the pieces 5 are pressed against the surfaces of the magnetic poles 1a, 1b. If a current is applied between the magnetic poles 1a and 1b in this composition, the pieces 5 and the magnetic poles 1a, 1b are welded together and the smelted pieces 5 flow into the piercing holes 23 to combine the magnetic poles 1a, 1b and the separator 2 solidly into one body. |
