PURPOSE:To continue a proper control by replacing a sensor, if it is faulty, with other sensor in a controller for an internal-combustion engine or the like provided at least with two sensors replaced with each other. CONSTITUTION:If a pressure sensor 2 is defective with a pressure range of P0- P1, a troubleshooting circuit in a control circuit unit 5 troubleshoots the sensor 2 and replaces the sensor 2 into a pressure sensor 3. A voltage value of pressure information of the sensor 3 read is used while being quadrupled and when this value exceeds an upper limit value Vk, the control is conducted by using the value Vk. Through the fail safe processing in this way, even if the pressure sensor 2 is defective, an accurate control in response to the state of the internal- combustion engine changed timewise is continued by using the pressure sensor 3 for high pressure region. |
