发明名称 MAGNETIC FLUID SLIDE BEARING STRUCTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To maintain stable lubrication extending over a long period of time by using a magnetic fluid as a lubricant and providing a slide surface with a groove formed orthogonal to the sliding direction, so that the magnetic fluid is stably retained on the slide surface by magnetic field of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 13 is provided with a groove 14 formed orthogonal to the reciprocating motion of a slide surface, and with rotation of the shaft 13, dynamic pressure is formed by the steps of the groove 14. A permanent magnet 12 is buried in a portion of a slide member 19, which is not brought into direct contact with an opposite surface, and a magnetic fluid 11 between the shaft 13 and the sliding member 19 is put in a slide portion to generate great dynamic pressure in the groove 14. Thus, a magnetic fluid 11, which is a lubricant, is restrained on the surface by magnetic field to attain an excellent bearing performance. Even at the time of stop and oscillation, a solid contact with the surface of the shaft 13 formed of non-magnetic substance is prevented by the magnetic fluid 11 to attain excellent bearing performance.
