PURPOSE:To relieve the work load of a driver as well as to make both check and control procedures ever so easy, by detecting a touch to a speed indicating panel consisting of a unitied speed indicator with a touch sensor, while calculating and displaying the speed setting value, in case of a speed setting input device for a constant turning gear. CONSTITUTION:Each of touch sensors 111-11n installed pursuantly to each unitied speed indicator 2 is operated in response to a driver's touch to a speed indicating panel 1 and detects its capacity variation with a detector 4, inputting the detected value into a control circuit 5 which calculates the speed setting value indicated by a driver on the basis of this input signal and displays it on the speed indicating panel 1 while controls a constant speed running gear 6. With this constitution, both check and control procedures are made so easy with no work load imposed on the driver. |
