<p>PURPOSE:To execute no unnecessary display, and also to prevent a wasteful consumption of electric power by turning off a feed to the part related to a display part by outputting a power source off signal, when executing a prescribed operation, and turning on the feed in other time. CONSTITUTION:In an arithmetic circuit part 2, when a key input is executed from a keyboard 1, an arithmetic part 5 executes a key read, a DC/DC converter 14 is turned off by resetting a control signal CNT, and a display is erased. Subsequently, a key code is determined from a key signal, and in accordance with the key code, the corresponding key processing is executed. Also, in case the key code is a display accompanied by, for instance, an execution of an operation and printing of a result of its operation, the operation, the printing and the post-processing of the printing are executed, and the result of the operation is displayed at a prescribed time point. That is to say, the converter 14 is turned on by setting the signal CNT, and said result is displayed on a display part 7 by driving a display driver 6. This display is continued until a new key is read.</p> |
