<p>PURPOSE:To improve paper running performance and prevent a support from cockling during fixation by providing a guide curved surface which forms a slit between the surfaces of a couple of rollers. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 11 has the front end part of a flat plate member curved arcuately and is so slanted that the guide curved surface 11b as the surface of the front end part forms the slit 14 with an upper roller 12. The support 5 when entering the contacting part between the rollers 12 and 13 is curved with the top surface projected and conveyed floating partially over a guide member 11 while part of the reverse surface slides on the guide curved surface 11b in contact. Its floating extent varies with the stiffness of the support 5, which then shifts in contacting part position on the guide curved surface 11b accordingly, so the support 5 is sent to the contacting part between the rollers 12 and 13 while lateral unevenness is leveled at the contacting position. The support 5 contacts the guide curved surface 11b linearly to some width, so it comes into slide contact with a guide member 11 smoothly and passed through the slit 14 naturally.</p> |
