PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. for absorption refrigerator, in which the absorbent can well absorb the refrigerant and the refrigerant can be well separated from the absorbent, by blending a specified imidazolidone compd. as an absorbent with a fluorinated alcohol as a refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:5-60wt% C2-C10 fluorinated alcohol (e.g. 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol) which is a liquid at room temp. and vaporizes by heating, is mixed with 40- 95wt% N,N'-dialkyl-2-imidazolidone (wherein an alkyl group has 1-4 carbon atoms) such as 1,3-dimethy-2-imidazolindone. |
