PURPOSE:The titled inexpensive composition excellent in weather resistance and suitable for car trims, obtained by mixing a block polyester elastomer of a specified composition with a phenolic antioxidant and a metallic inorganic pigment. CONSTITUTION:A block polyester elastomer comprising crystalline aromatic polyester segments and polylactone segments is prepared by reacting a crystalline aromatic polyester (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) with a lactone (e.g., epsilon-caprolactone). The purpose polyester elastomer composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. above block polyester elastomer with 0.05-5pts.wt. phenolic antioxidant (e.g., 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol) and 0.5-10pts.wt. metallic inorganic pigment (e.g., titanium oxide or red iron oxide). |
