PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably and certainly perform paper feed, by feeding paper in a state contacted with the outer peripheral surface of a feed shaft while prescribing the compression amount of an O-ring by a pressure roller to the outer peripheral surface of the feed shaft langaging with the O-ring. CONSTITUTION:A feed roller 1 is constituted of a feed shaft 2 molded from a synthetic resin so as to have an outer diameter with good accuracy and an O- ring 3 while grooves 2a, 2b are provided to the outer peripheral surface of the feed shaft 2 in the peripheral direction thereof at plural places and O-rings 3a, 3b are inlaid with said grooves 2a, 2b so as to be protruded only by a predetermined amount DELTAd from the outer peripheral surface of said shaft 2. In paper feed, the O-rings 3a, 3b are pressed through paper 5 by a press roller 4 to be pressurized and deformed so as to flash the surfaces thereof with the outer peripheral surface of the feed shaft 2 and the feed amount of the paper 5 is determined by the precisely molded outer diameter of the feed shaft 2 and stable paper feed is performed by the friction force of the O-ring 3. By this mechanism, the numbers of parts are reduced and a structure becomes simple and paper feed becomes stable and certain. |
