The invention relates to a transportable bottle (cylinder) for pressurised liquefied gas, particularly a bottle of 1 to 3.9 litre capacity. This bottle is characterised in that it includes, in combination, a shell 2 having an elliptical profile 6 at its top 5 and the lower edge 14 of which constitutes the stand of the bottle 1 and a dished part 4 engaged into the shell 2 provided with elliptical curvature 16 turned towards the top 5 of the shell 2.
