PURPOSE:To permit a frictional clutch to be easily replaced from a wet type to a dry type by forming a bulged part onto the part covering the outer peripheral surface of a clutch housing. CONSTITUTION:The bulged part 38 for accommodating one chord part of a clutch housing 15 is formed onto the surface opposed to a crankshaft 8 on a cover 28 for covering the clutch housing 15. Therefore, even if the between- shaft distance in the first reduction part between the crankshaft 8 and a driven shaft 9 is short, the whole of the cover 28 is not made large. Therefore, incorporation of the cover 28 into a crankcase 6 is permitted. Further, since the outer diameter of the clutch housing 15 is not restricted by the cover 28, each dimension of the clutch housing 15 and clutch plates 20 and 21 is not reduced. |
