The subject of the present invention is a static circuit breaker switch for installations for controlling and/or monitoring a consumer of electrical power, especially in motor vehicles. According to the invention, this circuit breaker switch comprises a switching transistor T1 which is interposed on the supply circuit of the consumer 1, and the base of this transistor is connected to one of the poles of the current source, for example earth, via two auxiliary transistors T2 and T3 which are connected in series so as to constitute an AND gate, the base of one T2 of the auxiliary transistors being connected to the input E for control signals, whilst the input of the other auxiliary transistor T3 is connected to the output of an OR gate itself having a first input connected to the signals input by way of a timer device 5 and a second input connected to the terminal of the consumer 1 moreover connected to the switching transistor T1. <IMAGE>
