PURPOSE:To achieve the expansion of an application scope by displacing a mobile electrode through the deformation of a tube by a process pressure paying attention to the theory of a Bourdon's tube to enable the selection of a desired material for a sealing liquid for transmission of pressure. CONSTITUTION:A process pressure is introduced into a pressure action chamber 6 from a pressure introduction path 10, acts on a seal diaphragm 8 and transmitted to a sealing liquid 9. The tube 7 presents a long and thin ellipse when no pressure works on the sealing liquid 9 but turns to the round when as a pressure works thereon. With the deformation of the tube 7, mobile electrodes 13 are displaced. Here, one mobile electrode 13 is displaced approaching one fixed electrode 11 while the other mobile electrode 13 is displaced separating from the other fixed electrode 11 and thus, a process pressure is detected from variations in the electrostatic capacity due to changes in the gap between the fixed electrodes 11 and the mobile electrodes 13. In this case, a desired liquid may be selected for the sealing liquid 9 in the tube 7. |
