Deterioration in properties of reaction injection moulded (RIM) elastomers, arising from lack of adhesion between fillers and elastomers obtained by reacting an aromatic polyisocyanate, a high molecular weight active-hydrogen compound, and a chain extender, can be overcome by using epoxy-modified filler materials, such as epoxy-modified milled glass, flaked glass, mica or Wollastonite. |
