The invention relates to a rotary piston machine, for example rotary piston pump. The aim of the invention is to reduce the effort involved in the construction, the technology and the assembly for rotary piston machines with a spring-mounted piston. The object of the invention was to simplify the construction of such a pump and to simplify the fitting of the piston. According to the invention, provision is made for the eccentric of the pump to comprise the following elements: a ring with two bores situated opposite to one another, a follower pin, which engages in the bores and which is slidingly guided in a radial bore of the drive shaft, and a compression spring which is arranged on one side of the follower pin between the ring and the drive shaft.
