PURPOSE:To prevent the overflowing and flooding of river water when the river water is increased by a method in which a steel plate is bent into an L-shape form which enables plural steel plates to be connected, and horizontal walls and vertical walls are connected with detachable supporters. CONSTITUTION:A movable retaining wall is made up of an L-shaped steel plate 1, a horizontal wall 2, a vertical wall 3, a supporter 4, bolts 5', a water-sealing rubber plate 6, a sponge mat 7, and piles 8. A tiered portion of a depth corresponding to thickness is provided on one end of the steel plate 1, and the tiered portion is connected with the other end of the steel plate, the water-sealing rubber plate 6 is attached to the steel plate 1 from the river water side and connected with the bolts 5'. In setting them on the top of the levee, the sponge mat 7 as a water-sealing material is interposed between the horizontal wall 2 and the top to prevent the leakage of water because the top is not necessarily flat. When the horizontal wall 2 is equal in length to the vertical wall, sufficient resistance against water pressure can be obtained by placing them simply on the top, however, they are fixed through the vertical wall 2 by the piles 8 in order to prevent unexpected falling down of the retaining wall. |
