PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic alloy which has high magnetic permeability, low coercive force and high satd. magnetic flux density, is inexpensively obtainable and is therefore suitable for various applications by specifying the respective contents of Ni, Si, Cr, O and N and consisting the alloy of the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic alloy consists, by weight, of 40-60% Ni, 0.05- 1.5% Si, 0.01-1.5% Cr, <=0.01% O, <=0.005% N and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. The magnetic alloy has the increased max. magnetic permeability and decreased coercive force without spoiling the high satd. magnetic flux density possessed by the ''PB Permalloy'' used heretofore. The more specific numerical values thereof exhibit magnetic characteristics of >=70,000max. magnetic permeability, <=0.100e coercive force and >=130,000 satd. magnetic flux density. Such magnetic alloy is suitable for parts, etc. for which the high magnetic permeability and high satd. magnetic flux density are required. |
