MAGNETIC RECORDING AND/OR REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the function of an adaptor for miniature tape by actuating a motor incorporated to the adaptor to unload the tape before the adaptor is ejected out of a magnetic recording and/or reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:With operation of the 2nd ejection button, a housing 11 is not stopped at a position C. Then an adaptor 30 is sent to an inserting slot 3 and a drive motor is stopped automatically. When the housing 11 reaches the position C and a switch SW4 is closed, a relay RL2 is energized and a circuit 101 parallel to a switch SW4A is formed via a terminal 71. Then a motor 87 is reversed to unload a tape within the adaptor 30. This device eliminates an operation to unload the tape after the adaptor 30 is taken out of the slot 3. Thus the function of the adaptor 30 is improved with an easy handling of a magnetic recording and/or reproducing device.
