<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the writing time by discontinuing the reading cycle and having the next writing cycle in case a defective result is obtained for reading and collation before the write/read repeating frequency reaches a set level. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 performs writing to EPROM21-n in response to the write data held at an output part 13 as well as a control program. In a reading cycle, a register 15 is reset by the same address and then the elements 21-n are selected successively by a counter 12. This read data is collated with the original write data. When a defective result of collation is obtained, the collation is discontinued for the defective element and its subsequent ones. Then the reading cycle is stopped, and a writing cycle of the same address is carried out. Thus the undesired collections are excluded. In such a way, the write/read cycles are repeated. Then the additional writing is carried out when a nondefective result is obtained with all of elements 21-n or said write/read cycle repeating frequency reaches a set level. Then the write/read cycles are carried out in the next address.</p> |
