PURPOSE:To improve resistance to liquid leakage by comprising a gasket that compresses, holding, and sealing the section between anode and cathode cans with heat-shrinkable resin, sticking it to the peripheral section of the cathode can, and caulking the opening section of the anode can. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable resin gasket 12 made of cylindrical vinyl chloride and such with the inside diameter that is larger than the outside diameter of a cathod can 8 is made to touch the periperal section 8a of the cathod can and is contracted and stuck by heating. Then cathode active material 10 and an electrolyte are injected in the cathode can 8 and a separator 8 is loaded. Subsequently, a flat type battery is formed by combining tablet typ anode active material 9 and an anode can 7, caulking the opening section 7a of the anode can 7 inside, and sealing it. As a result, since the gasket 12 is fit to the shape and surface state of the cathode can peripheral section 8a and is integratedly stuck, an electrolyte can be prevented from crawing up and resistance to liquid leakage can be improved. |
