PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of a picture quality, and also to extend a life of a photosensitive body by providing a flicker brush which contacts to a rotary brush and rotates at a higher speed than it. CONSTITUTION:A rotary brush 2 is rotated at a low speed, a photosensitive body 1 is cleaned without generating a toner filming, and a swept toner is rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow B. The brush 2 contacts to a flicker brush 8, the toner is removed enough by receiving a flicker action and a sweeping action, and the toner separated from the brush 2 is hit out to a flow path 12' by a flicker 9. Subsequently, an air current generated by a high rotation speed of the brush 8 passes through the flow paths 12, 12', the toner is carried and caught by a scavenger roller 4, and the toner does not scatter into a machine. As a result, deterioration of a picture quality can be prevented, and also a life of a photosensitive body 1 can be extended. |
