摘要 In the case of a compressed-gas current-interrupting device having conductive material - conductive material double nozzles (1, 2), if the axial separation of said nozzles is considerably greater than the nozzle radius then the predominantly radial flow rate of the arc extinguishing gas in the intermediate nozzle space should be increased in order to stabilise the switching-off arc section between the nozzles. According to the invention, an arrangement of radial flow spaces (7, 8, 9) is formed for this purpose between the cylinder closure cap (10) and the sliding switching piece (4), while ensuring the proven pressure-chamber principle in the compression cylinder (3), for example the compressed-gas flow interrupting device I. The outlet-flow cross-sections of these radial flow spaces, which are aligned with the double-nozzle axis, are of approximately the same size as the inlet-flow cross-sections of the double nozzles. Radial flow spaces which are arranged in accordance with the pressure-chamber principle also make it possible to keep to a minimum gas spaces in the compression cylinder which can not be filled by the compression piston (5) and its attachments (15) during the switching-off stroke. <IMAGE>
