Vehicle headlamp or signalling unit with integrated ventilation system

The headlamp or signalling unit (100) is of the type having a lamp (10) mounted inside an housing (110) closed by a glass (120). Inside the housing (110) is a ventilation space which includes at least a ventilation channel (200) which extends over apart of the front peripheral edge (110') of the housing (110). Each ventilation channel (200) has an opening (200b) towards the exterior of the housing (110) and an opening (200a) towards the interior of the housing (110). Each channel (200) is formed in the back of a slot (111) designed to receive a strip (111a) which forms a seal between the glass (120) and the housing (110). A closing strip (201) is positioned in the slot (111) over at least a part of the length of each ventilation channel (200) so as to close each ventilation channel (200) with the side of the slot (111). This is designed to avoid filling the ventilation channel with the sealing strip (111a).
