A suction catheter for sucking body fluids e.g. at surgical operations. The catheter comprises an inner and an outer tube (2, 3) manufacturing through a coextruding procedure and which form an integrated unit. The outside of the inner tube (2) and/or the inside of the outer tube (3) is provided with longitudinal profilings (4), which form channels (5) between the inner and outer tube. The channels (5) communicate with the ambient air and provide an air supply to the suction channel (2) when the catheter opening is stopped up. |
