The treatment consists of ageing, stretching and shaping the leather or synthetic material over the last. Heating is carried out with good heat distribution, such that the whole surface of the footwear is affected uniformly. The footwear is then placed in a sealed container connected to a vacuum source, and finally subjected to forced aeration with dry or moist cold air, depending on the material being treated.
