A container for powdered materials includes inner closure 2 forming a seal at one end and a removable cap 7 screwed on to the body at the same end, the inner closure being formed with a cross-shaped pilot groove 4 so that it can be opened without the use of any specially designed tool and the construction including a plastics ring member attached to the end of the body and having a flexible inner peripheral portion which extends over the edge of a securing ring 3 of the inner closure but is capable of being lifted to permit cutting of the inner closure after which it returns so as to cover the cut edge of the closure and thus avoid danger of injury from the edge. An integrally moulded spoon and levelling or scraper bar may be stowed within the sealed container, the bar being separated from the spoon on opening and clipped to the rim of the opening to facilitate levelling of the spooned contents thereagainst. <IMAGE> |
