The invention relates to a device allowing a differential automatically to transmit different torques to each of its shafts. This device consists of ramps 13 and 14 between planet pinions and hubs driving the shafts 1. The reactions produced by the shaft having the higher opposing torque are transmitted by the thrust bearing 6 to the opposite planet pinion which tends to turn too freely, in order to brake it. The invention may be used in differentials of all motor vehicles, agricultural tractors, all-terrain vehicles and the like. <IMAGE>
