PURPOSE:To increase durability of current collector for molten carbonate fuel cell for high efficiency by forming it with high corrosion resistant metal and oxide having low electric resistance at high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Aluminium contained iron family metal or aluminium diffused iron family metal which is high corrosion resistant to molten carbonate is used in metal part 14 of a current collector 4. Oxide such as Nb2O3, V2O3, or composite oxide such as LiNiO2 which has low electric resistance at high temperature is used as conductive material 15. The oxide or composite oxide 15 is sandwiched between the metal parts 14. Portions 16 and 17 of the current collector 4 in contact with an air electrode 2 and an outer frame 6 respectively are slitted to hole. Thereby, increase of contact resistance caused by oxidation and decrease of durability caused by mechanical strength deterioration are suppressed. |
