A high-strength multilayered shrink film produced from a group A resin comprising low-density polyethylene, a copolymer of a specified monomer with ethylene and so forth, a group B resin comprising a flexible thermoplastic elastomer with a Vicat softening point of 80 DEG C or below, and a group C resin comprising a specified polymer such as crystalline polypropylene or a mixture thereof, which film has at least five layers including a surface layer (S layer) mainly comprising at least one polymer selected among the groups A and B resins, etc., at least one base layer (SBC layer) mainly comprising a mixed composition comprising a combination of the groups A, B and C resins, etc., at least one core layer (H layer) mainly comprising a polymer selected among the group C resins, and at least one auxiliary layer (R layer) mainly comprising at least one polymer selected among the groups A and B resins as the inner layer, provided that when the R layer is adjacent to the S layer, the R layer comprises a resin different from that of the S layer. This film is excellent in heat-resistant shrink and stretchability and applicable to various packaging uses. The invention also discloses a process for producing this film.
|
