PURPOSE:To enable identification of the failure on the top surface of a casting mold from the outside and to prevent the trouble in the entire part of a casting device by providing a detector for a molten metal in a chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a vacuum generator 7 is operated, the inside of a chamber 4 is evacuated and the top surface of a casting mold 3 provided in the lower opening of the chamber 4 is evacuated and at the same time the mold 3 is attracted to the chamber 4. The mold 3 is sunk into a molten metal 1 by a driving device 5 and the molten metal 1 is filled in said mold. When the molten metal 1 sucked into the mold leaks atop the mold 3, a detector 41 for a molte metal provided in the chamber 4 detects the molten metal leaking atop the mold 3 and lights a lamp 42 and further the detector stops driving of the generator 7 thereby preventing the abnormal condition that the molten metal from the inside of the chamber 4 enters the inside of the pump 7 by creeping along a hose 6. |
