PURPOSE:To prevent the operation of an electric motor driven pump from being stopped by light emitted from the outside, by using the opaque for the bottommed part of a liquid level sensing part. CONSTITUTION:The opaque is used for a bottommed part 21 of a liquid level sensing part. When a container is made of transparent material such as glass, light emitted from the outside is always incident from the bottom of the liquid level sensing part 8 oppositely facing to a circular cone 10. However, the light emitted from the outside is never incident upon the inside of a liquid level sensing chamber 12 from the bottom of the liquid level sensing part 8 because of the bottommed shape of the liquid level sensing part 8 oppositely facing to the circular cone 10 while the opaque being used for this bottommed part 21. Accordingly, it is eliminated to receive the light emitted from the outside to the light receiving side of a liquid sensing element 9 through the circular cone 10.
