PURPOSE:To prevent uneven metal by increasing the flow rate of the atomizing air to be supplied for painting to pulverize further the sprayed paint. CONSTITUTION:The effective sectional area of air hoses 11-13, a regulator 14 and an air valve 15, etc. are suitably selected in such a way that the flow rate of the atomizing air to be supplied attains 5.5kg/cm<2> main dynamic pressure of a gun. A pressure increasing valve 21 provided with two inlets and one outlet is interposed in a pilot air circuit. One of the inlets is connected to a low pressure air source 17 side and the outlet is connected to the air valve 15 side. Another inlet is connected to a branch air hose 22. The hose 22 side of the valve 21 is opened and closed simultaneously with conduction of the pilot air in the stage of operation, by which the pressure of a high pressure air source is exerted to the pilot air port of the air valve 15 when the pilot air is supplied.
