Ball valve with two plastics rings pressing against the valve ball, in particular a plastic with the tradename "Teflon", and a ring arranged movably on the plastics ring and situated at one end of the valve. The valve is characterised in that arranged behind the movable ring in the recess in which the latter is situated is an intermediate piece with a circular outline and a corrugated height forming indentations and projections, as a result of which the movable ring can be pressed constantly without correction against the plastics ring, and in that arranged in a similar manner above the bush in which the actuating tappet of the valve slides is a ring which can be acted upon from above by an intermediate piece. <IMAGE>
