PURPOSE:To place stacked sheets of paper in a prescribed position, by providing movable side edge contact portions for a stacked sheet support means. CONSTITUTION:A stacked sheet support means 1 and an end edge contact portion 29 are provided. The end edge contact portion 29 is oriented perpendicularly to movable side edge contact portions 6, 7, which are moved in a direction crossing with the side edges of stacked sheets of paper and which then come into contact with the side edges of the stacked sheets. The end edge contact portion 29 is moved in a direction crossing with that of movement of the movable side edge contact portions 6, 7. Two pairs of racks 10, 11, 21, 22, which are engaged with pairs 27, 28 of gears 27a-28b, which have numbers of teeth proportional to two kinds of vertical and horizontal dimension ratios of the stacked sheets and are concentrically coupled to each other, are provided across each other. The side edge contact portions 7, 8 are coupled to one pair racks 10, 11, while the end edge contact portion 29 is removably engaged with the other pair of racks 21, 22. The front edges of the stacked sheets of paper are thus always placed in a prescribed position. |
