PURPOSE:To execute a tracking at a high speed at the time of reproducing by utilizng a reproducing output obtained two heads placed at an interval being different from a recording track pitch, and obtaining a directional property in the moving direction of the head. CONSTITUTION:A disk 120 is installed so as to be attachable and detachable to a rotary mechanism of a motor 202 which rotates at a prescribed speed. A reproducing head HC and HD are separated at a prescribed pitch Q being different from a pitch P, and supported by a supporting body 204. The supporting body 204 is held by a lead screw 208 rotated by other motor 206, and shifted in the radial direction R in parallel to a recording picture 124, of the disk 120 as the motor 206 rotates. An output 210C and 210D of the reproducing head HC and HD are supplied to a detecting circuit 214C and 214D through a preamplifier 212C and 212D, respectively. The detecting circuit 214C and 214D demodulate an FM-modulated luminance signal and detect its envelope. In this regard, each output 216C and 216D of the pre-amplifier 212C and 212D are utilized for reproducing a video as a video reproducing signal.
