PURPOSE:To prepare cyclic-3',5'-adenylic acid, by cultivating a bacterium belonging to the genus Microbacterium, having resistance to nucleic acid analogues, adenosine-3',5'-monophosphate analogue resistance and/or >=150g/l glucose resistance. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium belonging to the genus Microbacterium is subjected to variation treatment, so that it has nucleic acid analogue resistance. It is further subjected to variation treatment, to give Microbacterium No 205-MpGuI and Microbacterium No 205 MpCa-1 having at least one resistance selected from adenosine-3',5'-monophosphate analogue resistance and >=150g/l glucose resistance. These bacteria are aerobically cultivated to give cyclic-3',5'-adenylic acid. |
