PURPOSE:To prevent the hydrolysis of a coating-insulating film layer, by applying a plastic insulator coating of small humidity permeability on the outside of an insulator coating of a polyethylene terephthalate film for a lead or a winding. CONSTITUTION:Windings 3 are coiled on a core 2 inside a transformer 1 and connected to bushings 4 with leads 5, while they are connected to each other with leads 6. As for each of these leads 5 and 6, an insulator coating 9 of a polyethylene terephthalate PET film is applied on the outside of a conductor 8, and further thereon an insulator coating 10 having smaller humidity permeability than PET is applied. As for each OF the windings 3, a PET film insulator layer 12 is applied on the outer periphery of a conductor 11, and further an insulator coating 13 having smaller humidity permeability than PET is applied thereon. According to this constitution, hydrolysis can hardly occur in the outer periphery of the PET film, and the permeation of water from outside is eliminated, which results in the hydrolysis being hardly generated.
