As a replacement for stepping motors or direct-current motors for the linear stroke adjustment in fluidic valves, there is an electromagnetic lifting magnet (10) on one side of the adjusting piston (1). For limiting the stroke, there is an adjustably arranged stop (12) on the opposite side of the adjusting piston (1). To adjust the stop (12), there are two lifting magnets (14, 15) acting on an adjusting pin (18) with an adjusting surface (13) and having spring resetting (21, 29). By the use of simple components, the costs of control systems of this type can be considerably reduced without thereby reducing the accuracy of the control. <IMAGE>
