The seat is provided with a back supporting device (2) arranged at a certain height with respect to the seating of the seat and enabling it to contact the pelvis at the sacro-iliac joint (8) for the stabilization thereof in a straight position. Said device comprises substantially two side bearing areas (3) for the iliac bones under the back and upper iliac spines and a medial recessed zone (4) for the sacrum. It may be secured to the remainder of the seat at an appropriate height. Adjusting systems are also provided to adapt said device to individual shapes and dimensions of pelvises. |
