Pressing machine with a stationary pressing body

Commercially run pressing machines are conventionally heated by means of highly pressurised steam with the aid of a steam generator available in the factories. To achieve the necessary pressing temperature, a relatively high pressure is required. In the design of the pressing body, the safety provisions for pressure vessels are to be adhered to and a pressure test is to be carried out. If the operator provides for the use of another energy medium, a correspondingly designed pressing body is necessary for this. The pressing machine according to the invention is heated by a steam generator which is part of the machine and which can be operated with oil, gas, electrical energy or process steam. The steam generator is connected to the machine by way of a steam feedline and a condensate return line. The pressing machine can be produced without consideration being given to the various energy media. A working medium boiling at low pressure is used as working material, so that the pressing body is not exposed to any appreciable internal pressure (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
