Filler-containing acrylic fibres, production thereof and use thereof

To produce low-flammability, textile materials it is possible to use filler-containing, dry-spun acrylic fibres composed of acrylonitrile polymers from at least 50% by weight of acrylonitrile and up to 50% by weight of halogen-free comonomers and containing, as a filler, a water-insoluble metal epoxide, hydroxide, carbonate, silicate or sulphate with a particle diameter from 1 to 1000 nm in an amount of from 15 to 50% by weight, based on total solids.
