<p>A liquid presence sensor comprises a body (1) having a bore (2) extending therethrough, ultrasonic transducer means (4) mounted on the body and arranged, in use, to sense the presence of liquid in the bore, and mounting means (14, 15) for mounting the sensor in line with a conduit (12, 13) for containing liquid the presence of which is to be sensed, whereby the bore in the sensor body is substantially coaxial with the conduit.</p> |
