PURPOSE:To prevent a fuel pressure adjusting device from being heated and permit to operate the device correctly by a method wherein a hollow main body, having a throttle valve and whose both ends are opened, is provided with a fuel injection valve at one end thereof and the fuel pressure adjusting device is fixed to the hollow main body through a heat insulating material. CONSTITUTION:The fuel injection device is formed by the hollow main body 16 provided with flanges 12, 14 at both opposing opening ends in order to mount the suction air introducing pipe 11 of an internal-combustion engine E. The throttle valve 18 is attached to the hollow main body 16 and the fuel injection valve 22 is attached to the upstream side end of the hollow main body 16 through a support member 20. Fuel is supplied to the fuel injection valve 22 through a conduit 24 while excessive fuel is sent from a discharging conduit 26 to the fuel pressure adjusting device 28. A casing 30, divided into a fuel chamber 30A and an air chamber 30B by a diaphragm 32 in the fuel pressure adjusting device 28, is connected to the hollow main body 16 through the heat insulating material 50. According to this method, inadequate temperature rise of the fuel, passing through the fuel pressure adjusting device 28, is prevented. |
