PURPOSE:To readily open a changeover switch by controlling the output current of a cycloconverter to small AC current when the section of a linear motor is switched. CONSTITUTION:3-phase armature coils SECn-1-SECn+3 are supplied with 3- phase sinusoidal currents from cycloconverters CC-A, CC-B through 3-phase switches SWn-1-SWn+3 controlled by a section switching controller SC. When analog switches ASA, ASB are closed at the side by signals G1, G2 from the controller SC, and when the normal 3-phase sinusoidal current command is closed at b side, 3-phase small current command is applied to the cycloconverters CC-A, CC-B. The opening and closing of the switches SWn-1-SWn+3 are executed when the cycloconverters CC-A, CC-B are controlled by 3-phase small current. |
